Please note that some of my opinion is mixed into this, but not too much of it. Also I suppose you could technically count this as a review but this is really just to tell the developer how I think the game could be better.
Also, TJOC = The Joy of Creation.
First off, something I'd noticed right off the bat is how similar it is to TJOC (even the first one). It's got the same withered style, same controls (but they're even more complicated and less precise than the original TJOC), same basic story interpretation (the whole 'they know what you did' thing isn't completely original on TJOC's side but it's still alarming), and even the same basic main menu setup (at least in the second game). This all may just be me, but this is all I could think about when playing both games.
Secondly, the game just feels really mediocre. I can't put my finger on it but it feels very bland at the moment- may have something to do with it being in alpha. Also the animations for them moving on the camera aren't very good (that could be a major reason why it feels bland, actually)
Third, as /u/Cattermelon stated, the textures look like burned wood.
But anyways, with these things out of the way, the game looks alright. It's TJOC's same boogeyman formula with the Puppet slipped inside of it, and that's how I intend to look at it until further differences are created. And believe me, I don't want this fangame to fail. I want to see it become one of the best ones.
